Alex Esparza is an Executive Director in the technology investment banking group at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., where she has built and leads the digital health and wellness investment banking practice.
Prior to focusing on healthcare technology, Alex worked to build the private capital markets platform within the TMT investment banking group. She has spent over a dozen years on Wall Street and has held roles as a small-cap global equities investor and in institutional equities sales and trading.
Alex is an alumna of the New Leaders Council and SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity). Alex is part of the advisory team of A World Serving Many (AWSM), an organization and venture studio focused on advocacy and capacity building to increase capital access for underrepresented tech founders. She holds a BA from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
