Christiane is chief operating officer for Engineering, responsible for Portfolio, Strategy & Management, program delivery, and Organizational Development including the Engineering IP strategy. She serves on various committees including the Deputy Regulatory Oversight Committee, Firmwide Technology Risk Committee, Firmwide Operational Risk and Resilience Committee and Firmwide Conduct Committee. Christiane is an ally of the LGBTQ+ Network. Prior to her current role, she led the Non-Financial Risk and Controls Offices as well as the Change and Regulatory Reporting organizations within Global Banking & Markets. Christiane joined Goldman Sachs as a managing director in 2015 and was named partner in 2022.

Prior to joining the firm, Christiane was chief process officer and head of Process Analytics at Deutsche Bank. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, she led the GlobeClear and Agent Bank Clearing businesses at JPMorgan before moving into global markets operations to manage client platform operations. Christiane earned a BSc, with honors, in Economics from the London School of Economics in 1994.
