Project Management Director (Loan Advisor Strategy and Integration)

About the Position
The LAS Strategy & Integration team is accountable for helping our customers integrate Freddie Mac origination and loan delivery based technology solutions. In addition to leading a cross-functional team of professionals dedicated to the successful implementation of our technology solutions, the Director will play a critical role in continuing to advance this organization; defining process, roles / responsibilities and the interaction model between various internal and external stakeholders.
The position will manage a portfolio of customers, each of which might span multiple products and/or vendor technology interfaces. The incumbent will lead the delivery of these services through a team of three to five senior integration managers.
Responsibilities
- Manage Loan Advisor Strategy and Integration team; process and staffing
- Refine and implement development partner engagement model (new technology solutions)
- Maintain in-depth understanding of customer / industry trends and needs, as well as Freddie Mac strategic objectives and technology solution roadmap
- Partner with Sales management to facilitate the transition from technology sale to integration
- Conduct detailed process reviews to map, imbed and optimize the assimilation of new tools and functionality into the customer experience and process
- Collaborate with customers and vendors to develop formal implementation plans; including key success metrics and milestones
- Ensure successful system integration testing and verification. Create and/or update system integration specifications, data standards, forms, design documents and test cases
- Collaborate with customers, vendors and internal business partners to ensure product adoption
- Translate learnings and feedback into improvement opportunities for both the technology solutions and integration processes. Participate in shaping the direction of future strategy
- Lead, develop and motivate staff
- Successful delivery against stated objectives (both internal and external / customer)
- Monitoring and reporting of all integration efforts and outcomes
Qualifications
- College Degree or equivalent experience
- Typically has 15+ years of related work experience and 8+ years management experience
- 10+ years Project Management experience
- Extensive experience and knowledge of our customer’s origination and secondary marketing business processes and technology platforms
- Knowledge of prominent and emerging 3rd-party vendor tools that support the mortgage origination and selling process
- Experience designing solutions to drive process changes and efficiencies
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with agile methodologies
- Business strategy and business process redesign experience
- Strong consulting and influencing skills
- Strong quantitative, analytic and project management skills
- Program and project management skills
- Broad knowledge of the mortgage finance industry
- Significant experience implementing mortgage-related technology solutions
