Where are you from?

I am from Fremont, California. My mom is from Peru and my dad is from Nicaragua.

Where are you based today? 

Oakland, California

What are you up to today?

I am a data scientist, focusing on the trust and fraud space. Currently, I work on developing machine learning algorithms to tackle fraud on Airbnb’s platform.

What is a career accomplishment you’re proud of?

I helped cofound and lead my previous company’s Latinx employee resource group in 2018 and watched it grow from three people to over twenty people.

In the spirit of giving and receiving, what do you seek from this network and what do you want to contribute?

I am looking forward to meeting various leaders and discovering new initiatives for our community. I am happy to share leads, my expertise, and my experiences.

What is a fun fact about you that you’d like to share with the network?

I’ve had the same Spotify top artist since 2015 (it’s the rapper Drake).
