Alma mater:

Where are you from?

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

Where are you based today?

Portland, Oregon

What are you up to today?

I am currently looking for tech or digital strategy roles. The past year I was leading my own search fund (a small private equity fund) in the Dominican Republic but moved with my husband to Portland, so now I’m looking for my next opportunity. Two other highlights of my professional experience are the more than three years I spent at Bain & Co. doing strategy and management consulting, as well as two years leading Mercado Libre’s fintech unit in Mexico.

What is a career accomplishment you’re proud of?

Being part of the board for Girls in Tech in the Dominican Republic. I’ve been able to leverage my strategy and fundraising experience to help put the organization on the map in the Dominican Republic and directly impact almost 1,000 girls’ lives in less than three years.

In the spirit of giving and receiving, what do you seek from this network and what do you want to contribute?

Meet amazing fellow Latinos and build a network in the US, but mostly, learn from others’ experience (professionally, personally, emotionally). I hope I can contribute my experience as a woman and a Dominican in tech and in business and share whatever learning I can that marginally improves anyone in the group’s career or personal development.

What is a fun fact about you that you’d like to share with the network?

I love art and going to museums and galleries, but have always been afraid to get into the business. It’s the only thing I’m never not in the mood for.
