Where are you from?

I am from the Bronx, in New York City. My parents are both from Puebla, Mexico, and we are first-generation American.

Where are you based today? 

Brooklyn, New York City.

What are you up to today?

I am a senior vice president in strategic risk management at Citigroup.

What is a career accomplishment you’re proud of?

I am very proud of finding my niche at Citi and growing, while also finding my external niche in startup community building through Colorwave.

In the spirit of giving and receiving, what do you seek from this network and what do you want to contribute?

I am interested in connecting with venture capital and fintech/CPG/health startups. I am excited to also expand positive impact via fintech and traditional financial services for the underrepresented and underbanked Latinx community. I am happy to contribute advice on MBA applications, or deciding if the MBA is the right fit for you.

What is a fun fact about you that you’d like to share with the network?

I love to garden! I am especially adept at gardening tomatoes and jalapeños in the Bronx for a little summer salsita.
