Meet Gabriela Redhead

Where are you from?

I was born in Peru but raised in Kearny, New Jersey.

What do you do?

I am an MBA candidate pursuing my MBA at MIT Sloan and will be graduating in June 2023 (coming up fast!).

What is a career accomplishment you’re proud of?

Successfully navigating a cross-functional promotion to one of the most competitive teams at JPMorgan and being accepted into MIT Sloan as a first-generation Peruvian immigrant were both monumental moments for my family and I.

In the spirit of giving and receiving, what do you seek from this network and what do you want to contribute?

I would like to join a community of like-minded, high-achieving Hispanic individuals who can provide me with support and career advice. In return, I am happy to offer my time to provide support, make introductions, and share insights based on my personal and professional experiences.

What is a fun fact about you that you’d like to share with the network?

I recently participated in the NYC marathon, and I also performed salsa choreography in front of my entire MBA class at MIT.
