Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Mexico City. I moved to the US in my teenage years.

Where are you based now?

My family and I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

What are you up to today?

I am the founder and managing director of an investment vehicle for mainly family offices. We source, structure, and operate private equity investments in specific sectors. I am also the head of corporate development at the largest buying group for industrial distributors in North America.

What is a career accomplishment you’re proud of?

I have helped several entrepreneurs and management suites in their strategic efforts to grow or sell their companies. It is always a rewarding experience. I am proud of the impact we make.

What benefits or values do you seek in networking platforms such as The Alumni Society?

The Latino community in the investment space is very limited, and I would like to start an honest conversation as to why. I would also love to expand my network into other sectors that I have no direct connection to (e.g., entertainment, sports, tech, etc.)

What are you passionate about or what drives you?

I love meeting entrepreneurs and people running exciting businesses. In my career, you are continuously inspired by the ingenuity and tenacity of business owners.
