Meet Katherine Curiel

Where are you from?

I was born in Los Angeles, but grew up in Guadalajara and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

What do you do?

I am the senior director of strategy & analytics at Octane, a series E fintech startup in the consumer lending space.

What is a career accomplishment you’re proud of?

In my first role at my current employer, I lead the launch of our largest revenue producing partnership to date. I’m also grateful and proud of the opportunities I’ve had to lend my mentorship to several junior women in my organization to help them reach their goals (this a cause near and dear to my heart).

In the spirit of giving and receiving, what do you seek from this network and what do you want to contribute?

I’d like to continue building my network in the fintech, clean tech, and VC industries. I can offer my professional network from MIT and Harvard and from over 10+ years of experience in finance and tech. For any recent college grads, I’m also willing to provide mentorship.

What is a fun fact about you that you’d like to share with the network?

I’m currently training for the NYC Marathon, which will be my third marathon.
