Where are you from?

I love saying my family is from Chile, yet I was born in Canada and raised in the US, knowing many here will understand!

Where are you based now?

I relocated to Seattle from southern California for “just two years,” and I’m celebrating fifteen years in Seattle this year. Oops!

What are you up to today?

Running an empathetic leadership program through my business Bravo For You, teaching undergrads at the University of Washington, Bothell and professionals at UCLA Extension, and writing a book.

What is a career accomplishment you’re proud of?

Improving the team member experience in the workplace by increasing empathy in leadership.

What benefits or values do you seek in networking?

Contributing to a shared community. Exploring partnerships with nonprofits to offer a scholarship seat in my program, discovering shared experiences or learning about differences that can inform my ongoing development.

What are you passionate about or what drives you?

Relationships over transactions and creating psychologically safe experiences for leaders to develop and grow.
