Alma mater: Northwestern | Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Where are you from?
Born in the Bronx, New York and enriched with Colombian and Italian heritage.
What do you do?
I’m a marketing and tech executive advising leaders and boards on growth, brand value, and digital transformation. I often serve as an interim or fractional CMO for fast-growing tech companies. Currently, I’m interim head of product and brand marketing for Lingo (Abbott’s new consumer biowearables division) and a board director at Latinas in Tech.
What is a career accomplishment you’re proud of?
I’m proud of founding a successful advisory and consulting firm, Marketing Fluency, where I’ve had the privilege to work with amazing teams at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies, including at Peloton, Google, Cohesity, and Meta.
In the spirit of giving and receiving, what do you seek from this network and what do you want to contribute?
I’m looking to expand and deepen my sense of community with fellow leaders, especially those driving innovation in the consumer tech and health and wellness sectors. I’d like to contribute to this network by offering my expertise as an advisor, speaker, and mentor, helping to advance more Latinos into executive roles. I’m also happy to chat with anyone aiming to transition into fractional leadership or seeking insights into hiring fractional leaders.
What is a fun fact about you that you’d like to share with the network?
I’m an adventure-seeker. One of my most memorable adventures was summiting Mount Kilimanjaro with three long-time girlfriends. The climb was as much about the journey as the summit, a lesson I continue to value.
