Alarice Cesareo Lonergan is a partner at IBM Consulting and is the Americas leader for experience, design, and mobile, which is the digital arm of IBM’s consulting business. This practice has 300+ consultants across strategy, design, research, and development. She is a customer experience and digital leader who bridges strategy and design through transformation. She has 18 years of experience advising top clients across banking, insurance, and wealth management on customer experience, business, digital transformation, agile at scale, and web/mobile development. She has led groundbreaking initiatives with IBM’s top clients and Fortune 500 companies spanning new ways of working in agile, new partnerships, and humanizing the digital experience with AI.

She is recognized as a community builder and people leader. She brings teams of diverse people together to solve her client’s most complex challenges. She has served in a variety of roles while at IBM, including NYC Studio Leader, Integration Executive, and Financial Services Enterprise Strategy & iX Market Leader. Outside of work, Alarice is an ambassador of advancing DEI, education, and women’s initiatives. She is on the board of the Women’s Bond Club, whose mission is to lead, learn, and return in bringing up the next generation of women executives in financial services. She serves on the board of trustees as the secretary for the Wardlaw Hartridge School, which is an independent private Pre-K-12 school in New Jersey.

She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York City and a BA in economics from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. She resides in Chatham, New Jersey with her husband, three children, and rescue dog.
