Sebastian Zugman is the Issues Management Oversight Executive for the CFO group at Bank of America, which he joined in 2017 and brought more than twenty years of experience in the industry and global markets. Zugman works closely with each area across finance to help support the focus on managing risk.
Prior to assuming the Issues Management Executive role, Zugman was the group general auditor for Bank of America’s Global Banking and Markets, Technology, and Automation. His global team was responsible for providing independent assessments of the company’s Global Markets, Banking, and Technology activities.
Zugman has held several leadership positions in the financial services industry, including senior business and risk management roles with HSBC in North America, Deutsche Bank, and Lazard.
He attended Universidad de Belgrano, where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics. He also earned a Master of Arts in Mathematics of Finance at Columbia University and a Master of Science in Risk Management at New York University Stern School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Zugman serves on the corporate advisory board for ALPFA (Association of Latino Professionals For America) and on several other boards supporting causes related to planetary health and the environment.
