About the Position

Facebook is seeking a Head of Small Business Marketing for our Global Business Marketing group. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting a global marketing strategy to support our multi-billion dollar small & medium advertising business and our company’s economic impact narrative. This leader will manage a team of marketers who build global campaigns, programs, content, & sales tools for more than 90 million businesses across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, & WhatsApp. They’ll partner closely with other functions including the Small Business Group leadership team, regional marketing, channel marketing, creative, brand management, public policy & data science.

The ideal candidate will be an analytical, strategic, creative, and operationally-savvy marketer who can move fast and possesses a demonstrated ability to translate business objectives & customer insights into successful marketing strategies by leading large teams & influencing stakeholders. They’ll also possess strong communication skills, enthusiasm for Facebook, and an understanding of how Facebook’s marketing solutions align with small businesses’ needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 35+ marketers, designers, and project managers
  • Partner with the Small Business Group leadership team on aligning marketing strategies with business plans
  • Orchestrate the global strategy across Facebook’s four regions (North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Europe, Middle East, and Africa)
  • Develop creative for performance marketing campaigns on short timelines
  • Partner with engineering teams on building surfaces, tools, and content for sales teams
  • Lead global economic impact programs including Facebook Community Boost
  • Optimize marketing mix by analyzing performance of campaigns and programs
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the company
  • Serve as a thought leader across the small business-focused teams at Facebook

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • 15+ years of marketing and management experience
  • Experience working with small businesses and knowledge of their marketing challenges
  • Demonstrated experience building and growing teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or an equivalent advanced degree
  • Understanding of Facebook’s business strategy and opportunities to unlock growth among small businesses
