Meet Aly Denegri

Where are you from?

I was born in Zacatecas, Mexico and grew up in Whitney, Texas after my family relocated to the United States when I was 9.

What do you do?

I am a director in business transformation and strategy at Apollo Global Management, an alternatives asset manager.

What is a career accomplishment you’re proud of?

My recent promotion to director was a huge achievement. My background has been in asset management consulting, so moving in-house and receiving this recognition was very rewarding.

In the spirit of giving and receiving, what do you seek from this network and what do you want to contribute?

I hope to give what I receive – mentorship and networking. I enjoy working with young Latinxs to provide advice and opportunities. Similarly, I recognize the importance of receiving guidance from those who have more experience and can provide a helpful outlook.

What is a fun fact about you that you’d like to share with the network?

I love to travel and do it as often as I can.
