Meet Armando Azarloza

Where are you from?

I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the US at the age of four. My family fled Cuba in 1961.

What do you do?

I am a marketing executive with my own multicultural agency in Los Angeles.

What is a career accomplishment you’re proud of?

Creating a top-20 multicultural marketing agency for Interpublic Group of Companies and then buying it out of the holding company and now being 100% minority owned.

In the spirit of giving and receiving, what do you seek from this network and what do you want to contribute?

An opportunity to network and mentor other members in the world of business, marketing, and politics.

What is a fun fact about you that you’d like to share with the network?

I started my career in the Office of Presidential Advance working for First Lady Nancy Reagan from 1986-89.
