The Alumni Society Announces Partnership with Chicago Scholars

CHICAGO (July 17, 2017) – The Alumni Society joins forces in partnership with Chicago Scholars to motivate youth from Chicago to apply to Ivy League and top-tier universities across the country.
The Alumni Society brings to the partnership access to a network of over 1,700 Latino leaders who are graduates of the nations most competitive universities, which include: Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Georgetown University, Harvard University, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton University, Stanford University, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, and Yale University.
Through this partnership, The Alumni Society network will have the opportunity to give back by mentoring and speaking to Chicago Scholars youth.
“Our goal is to connect our network with students and families and provide them with useful insights and support on how to apply to top-tier universities” explains Sergio Fernández, executive director at The Alumni Society. “Many of the members of our network come from humbling beginnings, and their journeys can resonate with and provide inspiration for college-bound youth at Chicago Scholars. Through this partnership, our hope is to provide an inroad for students to apply, attend and become future alumni of these world-renowned universities.”
In addition, The Alumni Society will highlight the achievements of Chicago Scholars and their students across it’s media platforms to bring greater awareness of the alliance.
