Erika (Rivera Manueco) Osterling is the founder of Steeped Advisory, where she leverages a broad twenty-year career as a senior operator and executive advisor for best-in-class talent and leadership organizations. She partners with CEOs, CHROs, and heads of talent to establish tailored coaching engagements which advance strategic business and talent goals. She works with her clients (directors to senior executives) to create breakthroughs in their current roles and careers. Erika also serves as a career and development coach at Harvard Business School, as executive coach for The Leadership Consortium, and as an advisor for Pathwise, an early-stage coaching platform.
Her favorite areas of work include helping leaders discover and land roles aligned to their capabilities and interests, craft their differentiated story, build their networks, and develop critical leadership skills to accelerate promotability and impact.
Before Steeped, Erika was the executive director at Russell Reynolds Associates recruiting senior executives into P&L and human capital roles. She was selected as the diversity and inclusion champion for the industrial practice in North America. Earlier in her career, Erika worked in industry for more than fifteen years at GE, Avery Dennison, and PepsiCo in operations, commercial, and general management roles across multiple businesses and geographies, including an expat role in Southeast Asia.
Erika holds a BS in industrial engineering from Monterrey Tec (ITESM) in Mexico and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Erika pursues her career aspirations while balancing dual careers and two young daughters. A proud Mexican and Hispanic, she is passionate to contribute to the advancement of diverse talent into executive leadership.
