The Social Good team is looking for a Director of Health Partnerships for our growing team. This Director of Health Partnerships will manage a team of strategic partner managers providing supports across Facebook’s health products and initiatives, partnering closely with Product and a variety of cross- functional partners. The objective of this role is to build a strong partner ecosystem in order to provide guidance on product strategy, product launches, program design and execution. The Health Partnerships lead will be the external presence and representative for FB and Health at key events.

Success in this position will require a deep understanding of the health space, established relationships with key government agencies and global/national NGO’s, the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a matrixed organization. Above all, this leader has demonstrated success in team management, partner development, and program and product strategy. This is a full-time position located in our Menlo Park office.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the broader strategy and narrative for FB and Health, working closely with Product Management, Policy, Product Marketing, and Comms
  • Be the external presence and representative for FB Health at key events
  • Help set strategy and build strong partner network
  • Have an established network of contacts from across the health sector ready to act as primary point of contact with our stakeholders across key government agencies, nonprofit orgs, research institutions
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships to drive strategic investments that compliment product priorities and drive global impact in the Health space
  • Help construct advisory panels of outside stakeholders to guide our approach around Health problems and products, working closely with Product Management and Policy
  • Become well-versed in the evolving competitive landscape and channel those insights to the team
  • Work closely with external stakeholders (e.g. partners, FB users, health experts, policymakers) to refine our approaches to product and programs
  • Build operational infrastructure to support a high performing team of Strategic Partner Managers across all Health verticals

Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years experience working at or with consumer tech company on issues at the intersection of health, technology, and society
    • 10+ years team management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years experience working experience more broadly in the Health space.
  • Ability to bridge different expert stakeholder perspectives (partner organization, consumer, clinician, researcher, privacy, public health) to arrive at pragmatic partnership, product and policy solutions.
  • Public presentation experience.
  • Personal credibility/trust in this space with deep existing relationships across above stakeholders.
