Meet Daniel Lichi

An ongoing series from The Alumni Society spotlighting its impressive members

Alma mater: University of Pennsylvania | Location: Boston

Where are you from?

I was born in Mexico City and I’m a proud Latino Jew.

What do you do?

Since I graduated from Wharton I have worked in software companies within their commercial teams, both as a seller and building and managing teams. I’m currently consulting a couple of companies and an advisor to a couple more.

What is a career accomplishment you’re proud of?

I joined a small startup after my MBA and ended up building their commercial teams from scratch, leading their channel partners team, and traveling to 15 different countries representing this startup. My experience has led me to become a mentor both formally and informally. I have volunteered for MassChallenge as a mentor and judge, and also volunteer with Community Consulting Teams (CCT) Boston.

In the spirit of giving and receiving, what do you seek from this network and what do you want to contribute?

After spending most of 2023 in Dublin, Ireland, I came back to Boston and am looking for a sales job in 500+ employees tech companies, much preferably based in Boston or at least with an office here. I’m also excited about the opportunity to give back to this community and help others figure out their next steps in their career, as well as work with entrepreneurs and help them navigate strategic, commercial, and operational challenges.

What is a fun fact about you that you’d like to share with the network?

I’ve lived in nine different cities and in four different countries (Mexico, US, France, and Israel).
