IT Business Relationship Lead

About the Position
Lilly USA IT plays an exciting role in delivering solutions and services across the US Bio-Medicines, US Diabetes and US Oncology organizations of Eli Lilly. You will partner with many diverse groups including: IT data integration consultants, business partners, field sales representatives and external partners to influence foundational decisions on the solutions we deliver. You will be a key driver on the strategy and implementation on how we store, handle, process and integrate data across diverse platforms. Opportunities also exist to influence the design and delivery of Lilly’s business intelligence reporting. In addition:
- You will hold a technical leadership position with the ability to impact the solutions we deliver to our customers that lead to improved efficiency and customer experiences
- You will demonstrate your expertise with tools used by IT and Lilly’s sales force to deliver high impact solutions
- You will become an authority on processes and data used by our business partners
- You will provide leadership and mentoring to a great team of technical analysts
Key Deliverables/Responsibilities
- Lead, design and build end to end Business Intelligence reporting solutions for Lilly’s three US based sales forces (Diabetes, Oncology, Biomeds)
- Influence and Partner with our IT Architecture professionals to explore new technologies to keep Lilly’s reporting platform the best in class
- Coordinate across multiple business and IT departments to integrate complimentary technologies for our US based sales force
- Lead, design and build proof of concepts for emerging technologies
- Ensure our design and development adheres to quality and compliance requirements
- Lead data investigations and answer ad hoc data questions from the US based sales organization
- Actively identify short and long-term improvement opportunities that cross multiple business and IT departments
- We want a great leader that can anticipate the needs of business partners, IT colleagues, and external vendors
- Demonstrate your ability to effectively communicate with IT and business partners of all levels
- Ensure delivery on commitments, call out issues when needed and mitigate risks as they arise
- You will need to demonstrate strong self-management skills and ability to work in ambiguity
- We want a dedicated individual with a demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and a solid ability to drive peers and partners to timely decisions
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years experience in Information Technology
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position

- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies (Strong learning agility)
- In depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and design
- Solid grasp of relational databases and SQL
- IT Architect experience
- Tableau and Netezza/Puredata experience
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodology
- US Market Healthcare environment knowledge
- User interface/User experience knowledge
- Project Management experience
