The Alumni Society Partners with BlackRock for Greater Member Opportunity
The Alumni Society is thrilled to announce a partnership with the multinational investment management corporation BlackRock.
BlackRock is deeply committed to fostering a diverse and unified workforce as it achieves its mission of creating a better financial future for its clients. The company notes that a diverse workforce is indispensable to its creativity and success and believes an inclusive, equitable environment makes everyone thrive.
In order to achieve that vision, BlackRock recognizes and understands that there needs to be more Latino voices in senior positions.
BlackRock is also coming off a strong year in its 30-plus year history. In September 2021, for example, BlackRock announced that the BlackRock Foundation granted $100 million to Breakthrough Energy’s Catalyst Program to help accelerate the development of the climate solutions necessary to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. In June 2021, BlackRock and Baringa Partners announced their entry into a definitive agreement for BlackRock to acquire and integrate Baringa’s industry-leading Climate Change Scenario Model into BlackRock’s Aladdin Climate technology.
The Alumni Society has helped some of the most successful, industry-leading companies foster intimate connections with its members through exclusive events, career opportunities, and dedicated engagement managers to help facilitate introductions to BlackRock recruiting leaders.
The partnership also comes at a significant time in The Alumni Society’s history. Founded in 2015, The Alumni Society is entering its eighth year with more than 5,000 members, a milestone it achieved in 2021 in the middle of a global pandemic, eighteen corporate partners, and seven network partners. The Alumni Society aims to return to in-person events in 2022.
