This role is critical to efforts related to driving diversity, promoting inclusion and supporting development of underrepresented people. Facebook is looking to hire a D&I Learning Director with proven experience in leading teams, building strategies and designing innovative curricula related to supporting D&I work.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with L&D colleagues and HR Business Partners to identify needs and drive a comprehensive D&I development strategy across Facebook.
  • Create and lead FB’s Inclusion Learning Center of Excellence to execute on this development strategy.
  • Provide content leadership for the learning team for our leaders at Facebook in the areas of D&I and equity. This work will include benchmarking existing industry solutions and developing new tools and programming in highly innovative ways to support our talent strategy. It will also include supporting program delivery and leader training deployed across the whole organization.
  • Create and launch a comprehensive approach to developing inclusion in a team/org context.
  • Partner with the technical, sales, and business training teams to ensure program & content congruence.
  • Provide support to client-facing L&D leaders and HRBP’s as necessary to build D&I learning strategies.
  • Participate as an active thought partner and team member to Global L&D team, D&I Team, and the HR leadership team, including attending regular team meetings and meeting strategic partners regularly to coordinate and agree on strategy and operational direction.
  • Provide regular data reporting, sharing insights on the impact of these interventions to the HR Leadership team at Facebook.
  • Provide ongoing ownership and support of inclusion assessment strategy and tools.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of leadership experience
  • 12+ years experience in Learning and Development
  • 8+ years experience in Instructional Design and Program Development
  • 5+ years experience in D&I space, including strategic analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation and delivery
  • 5+ years of Diversity & Inclusion training experience
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic leadership in D&I learning resulting in shifts in organizational philosophy and/or Implementation of broad-based learning solutions
  • Experience with systems-thinking approach to leadership, development and learning i.e., balancing the development of employees in the context of their role, region and business realities
  • Experience with the online technology industry and the challenges and demands it places on HR including L&D

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctorate in organizational development and/or diversity and inclusion studies, intercultural education or related fields in social justice and global equity
  • Experience influencing and working in an international setting or in a global organization with demonstration of cultural competence
  • Master’s degree in education, race/gender/women’s studies, intercultural education, and some professional education and accreditation as a Human Resources and/or Organizational Development professional
